We
believe we have been building roof and floor trusses longer
than anyone in New England. We have maintained our equipment
at a state of the art level.
From computerized saws, lasers that project the truss design,
gantry press, roller press and automatic stacking equipment.
We are considered to be amongst the lowest cost producers
in the business. Thus our prices are very, very competitive.
We are also one of the few mills that subscribes to an outside
service to come to our plant unannouced to check on what is
being produced. This includes making certain we are using
a proper grade of lumber, proper metal plates and their placement,
along with joints well within tolerances. Some building inspectors
feel much more confortable when they know the trusses are
from LaValley-Middleton an organization that has a third party
inspection.
In addition, our crane services offer substantial savings
for those who need to set trusses. We do not charge portal-to-portal
time. We charge only the time the crane works and one-way
travel; and we do not have a minumum charge. |
